Wow, great stuff Neal! Looks like Pipe started to hit its stride early this morning. Saw some mean ones come through Backdoor as well. Love the bend in that empty...

Those waves are mentaaaal. Pipe and backdoor was going off its ass. Just think that was our original window for the Pipe contest. I hope we score Pipe like that. Please

Before the contest, I was stroking for a good BD wave, but wasn't committed to catching it. Brother TP was inside of me and backed off as I backed off. Man, he was cringing his fingers in anguish as he saw the wave rope towards OTW. I was pretty bummed too.

you took these all with that olympus camera that doesn't need a housing? These are really beautiful shots.

Thanks. But you gotta maintain it (waterspots) and understand how to shoot it (correct mode, prefocus, etc). Otherwise you get something like this:

I've got the Olympus Stylus 720, is that the kind that you have?
here's 2 that I took using (I think) the Shoot & Select 1 mode...gotta get better at it..also if it's the right camera, how do you handle the water spots..? thanks for you help.
