First of all.. Greetings to all..

I am just wondering.. I am stoked that I was able to buy the Hubb 41.5 for a lot less than I've seen elsewhere.
I am curious though.. Does the board suck, or is it just ridiculously overvalued on other websites?

Give thanks,

Chazz

[edit] Bad form.. I didn't mean for that to come out that way. What a way to get off on the wrong foot. It could be because everyone over here is rad and gave me a good price.. my apologies

You're right. We're going to raise the price I think....ha, ha. Just joking of course. The Hubbs on the market were made in 2007. BZ has reduced the cost of these boards to retailers in order to get rid of them to make way for production of new models. We simply pass those savings along to our customers.

I just got it and it looks great.. Hopefully, it won't be flat so I can try it out.

As far as "passing the savings on" I appreciate that to the fullest..

I have two bz and love them. I also have my signed Stewart Science, and a 6 other boards. I only use the Stewart and BZ boards depending on what mood I am in. All work great fro me. I am not a pro. Lately I find that the Stewart sits better in the water when the off shore wind is strong. When on a BZ, I was blown off the top and back down the wrong side. Going to test it out tomorrow as heavy wind and it is Taifuu season and I love it.

Are the Hubb Graphics still made in the US? Hubb wrote in an old posting (dated from '05, I think) that the top-of-the-line boards were made in the US. I saw one recently, I believe it was the '06 Hubb Graphic ('06 is the year on the packaging label...it had the same bottom I see here at eBodyboarding), that said "Made in China. Manufactured for BZ Pro Boards." If this is truly the case, how's the craftsmanship and quality? The tail of the one I saw in the store was uneven, almost amateurish. :-( It's sad to see such shoddy work on Hubb's premiere board.

The current Hubbs on the market are still leftovers from 2007 production and were made overseas. Construction is outstanding from what I can see. 80% of all the boards on the market today are made overseas.
2010 stock "should" be arriving in April.
